Our 2009 Mission Team is Full!
UUMC and Out of Love Youth Ministries are proud to present the 2009 Mission Trip! Each year the youth of UUMC travel to meet with 400 other youth and leaders in order to shear the love of Christ. We stay in close quarters for one week as we serve the surrounding community. We spend time in worship, fellowship, and service as we repair homes of local residents. Friday, October 17th - Christian Comedy Night 8pm (donations going toward Mission Trip)
Saturday, October 18th - UUMC Football Parking (Volunteers needed, make money toward your trip!)
Saturday, November 1 - Brunch Prep. 9am (Volunteers needed, make money toward your trip!)
Sunday, November 2- Brunch Prep. 9am (Volunteers needed, make money toward your trip!)
Sunday, November 16 - Mandatory Mossion Meeting 12:15 to 1pm

2008 - Smithers, WV
Our Mission Team of 9 drove to the hills and rivers of Smithers, WV June 28 through July 5 with the Group Workcamps Foundation. There we met 400 youth from states across the nation and formed 64 work crews (6 people/crew). We worked on and completed 57 homes that needed our time, love, and care. It was an amazing experience and our youth had a wonderful time and weren't ready to come home at the end of the week!
